I was privileged to be allowed to house-sit and dog-mind Leo for a month while his people were on a big overseas trip.
Although that is some time ago now, I still have very strong happy memories of my time with Leo and I have been intending to create a post and video about Leo ever since then, but not actually gotten around to it up until now.
What breed is he you ask?
Chinese Crested and if you are interested here is what Wikipedia has to say about them: Chinese Crested Dog - Wikipedia
Adventures with Leo
While house-sitting and dog minding we went on a few small adventures to areas of interest close to Adelaide.
The pic below was taken Christmas morning on route to Cape Yorke Peninsular. I loved the amazing outfits Leo had available to choose from and we made the most of those, including this gorgeous red fleecy number for the cold morning air.
Wonderful outfits
Speaking of his outfits, check out this amazing collection to choose from.
Leo even has his face in the closet inspecting the selection... or perhaps looking for a treat.....
I almost felt mean trying this one on him, but it is adorable isn't it.
However this was my favourite look for Leo - the Super-dog. All geared up and ready to head out skating some of Adelaide's excellent trails.
Leo loved heading out in Lulu the Landy for adventures and seemed very happy in the font seat, harnessed in and watching everything.
This pic below was taken after a big day exploring Yorke Peninsular, Leo had worn himself out chasing seagulls and is asleep on the front seat while I chill out reading a book and enjoying a cuppa.
But the most fun we had together were the walks in the nearby park and skating the local trails on the electric skateboard. This little video shares how absolutely staunch Leo was and how much he loved it.
A huge thanks to Leo's people (you know who you are) for allowing me to care for your home and Leo while you were on holiday overseas.
As you can tell, the memories of sharing that time with your Leo are strong and sweet.
