Finally.
Yes finally.... adding new pictures & videos.
I hope you are all well and that the impact of COVID-19 on your home life, working life and health is minimal, wherever in the world you are.
As you know I am back 'home' in New Zealand, wondering when I will be able to get back to Aussie, waiting/reassessing and dedicated to having as much fun as I can In the meantime.
I am grateful to have an income and to be able to save towards the next adventure.
My favourite of absolutely everything is trapped in my Landy which is in long-term-covered carpark near an airport in Aussie:
my kite-surfing gear: kites, board. harness, lines
my paddleboard & paddle
mountain-bike
tramping gear
go-pro gear and
my favourite clothes.
Never did I think in my wildest imaginings that boarders would close; who could have imagined this?
Every few weeks I wonder when I will be able to return, and I wonder, do I ship my Landy back to NZ if I can't return to Aussie?
I miss the heat.
I miss the bright blue skies.
I miss the wild raucous bird calls.
I miss exploring and of course
I miss Lulu the Landy.
I am grateful:
Grateful for everything that I have here in NZ - family, income, my mobile office/motor-home, but I do miss Aussie, the great people and the stunning landscapes and wildlife.
I have an office job:
Would you believe it if I said I am a secretary?...actually an 'Executive Assistant' and that I look after Chief Executives of government departments. Although I do it by running my own business and operate as a 'contractor'.
Too funny isn't it.
My love of the outdoors, of sleeping on the ground in the wild, driving 4wdr trails balances the fast pace of busy office role.
My apology:
Work has been busy, and at the end of a full day working in an office, looking at a computer screen all day, I struggle to make myself spend time on a computer in the evenings in order to review/edit pictures and videos. So I haven't been updating this web-page like I want to.
Reviewing posts, correcting typos & adding new content
Today I began by reviewing on of my earliest 'posts'. The project to install the two second-hand awnings on my Landy,
I have updated that post and hope you will enjoy it: Installing a 'Kings' awning on my Landy.
I will continue to update previous posts, my aim is to add new video/photographic content every few days.
I look forward to joining you online and look forward to your comments.
