Off the plane & into the bush, 4wdriving

Back in Aussie on Thurs 27 Feb: flew into Melbourne, picked up my Landy and well I was planning on heading to the ocean, but Lulu the Landy had other ideas...

Before I know it she is turning off the road (she is a Landy afterall) , down a little side road which lead us to Lederderg State Park.

Driving through the park I found some fun 4wdr tracks to explore.

Heading down the Ratcliffe Track was fun... the trail began as a very easy to drive track through the forest.

But I came this this section of the trail and was not sure if it was wise to drive down it.

I videoed my little dilemma, you can watch that here and let me know, would you have driven down the track...?

Check it out in one of my 1st Instagram posts here: 4wdr decisions

Or in this little video:

After making the decision to turn around (a wise decision) I found my way to this lovely camp ground (free).

If you are in the general vicinity of Melbourne and want to go exploring for the day, I recommend this little State Park. You can useful information about it here: https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/parks/lerderderg-state-park/where-to-stay/camping-in-lerderderg-state-park

Enjoy :)
